Massive barramundi caught at hinchinbrook

Catching Big Barramundi video#12

Not many people know as much about catching big barramundi as Ryan Moody.

To date we have only 1 metre plus fish to go before cracking 2000 barra over a metre for clients.

Leave your guess in the comments below.

Last year was a bit slow due to the lack of wet seasons for the last several years, but we still managed to crack several metreys and beyond during the season.

And of course we videoed our exploits catching big barramundi girls for you.

Many people think you need to head to remote areas like the Gulf or the Territory to catch big barramundi but it’s simply not true, as the video below demonstrates;

About The Author

Ryan Moody

Ryan Moody started his fishing career on the reef boats before catching bucket list marlin for the likes of champion heavy tackle angler Johnno Johnson, INXS and the King of Sweden. Branching out in the late 80's to guided barramundi fishing, Ryan has made a name for himself as a Big Barramundi specialist and to date has put clients onto over 2000 metre plus barra. That is over 2 kilometres of metre plus barra! With attitudes changing from 'keep all you can' towards catch and release, Ryan has decided to share his extensive knowledge and hopefully inspire people of all ages to get out from behind the computer screen/TV and into the fishing outdoors lifestyle he has spent his life perfecting.

    Magic number 2000 might be caught April 2nd 15:15 only picked this date because I think it would make the moment even better if it is caught on a family trip with you guys and your boys and think that date is the last weekend of school holidays.

    I’ll stick by date above but 12/06/16 @ 17:00 will be closer to the date
