Sounder Skills 2 – How to use a fish finder

Our newest online fishing course on how to use your fish finder: Sounder Skills 2 will be available from 11th February 2019.

Sounder Skills 2 is a comprehensive course on how to get the best from your fish finder in a practical sense.

It’s about how to find new spots, position your boat in the right spot, know what constitutes a good spot and how to catch more fish.

So it’s not so much about what buttons to push, where they are on your unit menu etc. (there are too many different models and brands you’ll have to use your manual for that).

But it is about the correct settings so your unit is telling you the truth.

You see, Ryan could set up his unit to show there were no fish when there are a lot, and small fish when they’re big.

He could also trick the uninitiated into thinking they were high in the water column when they are low and vice versa.

It’s remarkable how your unit can lie to you.

And we remove all the confusion in our newest course.

It takes our introductory course on how to use a fish finder (Sounder Skills 1) to the next level.

And the best part?

We take you into the field in some of our demo videos as we record the screen along with Ryan’s narration so you can see what we see and have it interpreted for you.

I’ve got some snippets from the demos in the promo video below.

Now I had intended on writing a big blurb about the course, but as I write this Ryan is in the hospital with kidney stones.

So forgive me if it’s short and sweet. Plus I’m prepping for the next intake of Barra Basics with registrations opening from 11th February to 15th February 2019. Goodness, it never rains it pours. Just ask Townsville!

If you’d like to read the entire curriculum and find out more about Sounder Skills 2, click the button below.

You can also get on the waitlist if you click get started on the pricing page.

Our signature online fishing course Barra Basics will be also available from 11th February 2019.

Registrations for Barra Basics only opens a couple of times per year and the next intake is sure to be a doozy.

The season opened a few days ago and already the Facebook group is going wild with student pics.

It has been a bit of a barra drought in FNQ due to the lack of rain, but that all changed last week.

For those interested in Barra Basics – don’t take our word for it.

We have a TON more testimonials from happy students on our praise page.

Jump into the Program Tour for a sneak peek into the course.

To all our community members and fans in Townsville, our heart goes out to you as we wish you the best during the floods and the cleanup.

And for those new here, feel free to check out our previous blog posts. Hope you get something out of them and maybe we will see you in one of our courses one day.
