Best way to get lures off snags

One of my most useful tips is how to get lures off snags and this is the topic of our latest video.

As some of you may know, I prefer not to use snap swivels to attach my lures as big fish can bite down on the snap causing it to open.

Using a knot has it’s advantages, however it’s difficult to use a lure retriever as they generally latch onto the snap.

However, this does not mean it is impossible to get your lure back.

I have three methods that I try before snapping it off and tying on another lure.

I demonstrate the best ways to get lures out of trees and off snags in the following video and as you will see, it works a treat!

Hope you enjoyed the video.
